Harry: I can't believe we drove around all day, and there's not a single job in this town. There is nothing, nada, zip! Lloyd: Yeah! Unless you wanna work forty hours a week. Harry: Maybe we should just check out Matt's YouTubes

swingin it...
Jim Adams held a CD Release Party tonight for his latest solo jazz exploration ....Jazz Between Sets is now available at cd baby in case you missed out on the gig.
Jim's talents were in fine form as he interpreted timeless jazz classics for his guests to enjoy. A relaxed vibe prevailed at the atmospheric setting of Gaia's Garden in Santa Rosa.
I especially enjoyed the oh so mellow Sabor A Mi..... which Doug actually translated for us later in the evening. Good times.

Just Grow It!
It’s Mustache March everyone! And yes, I am still fixated on face hair.
I actually grew a beard (see 2/23 post) to be in solidarity with son, Garrett. Now it seems he’s got a stache. The mustache used to be my M.O. and he always called it lame. Go figure.
When he sent me his photo, I was reminded of my old passport shot (about 30 years ago!) The juxtaposition shows heredity at work.... I sure hope his gallbladder fares better than mine did.
And speaking of heredity, here’s my grandfather Harry with his butcher wagon and the local townswomen. Back at the turn of the century, the mustache was clearly a babe magnet! Of course, babes have changed a little since then.
