Philip Seymour Hoffman is a highly accomplished actor and theater director. He has received many high profile accolades including the Academy Award for Best Actor and the Golden Globe for Best Actor. Observe his portrayal of Sandy Lyle, as he busts out some pretty intense acting....
Harry: I can't believe we drove around all day, and there's not a single job in this town. There is nothing, nada, zip! Lloyd: Yeah! Unless you wanna work forty hours a week. Harry: Maybe we should just check out Matt's YouTubes

Wildlife Photography
I brought the camera on yesterday’s ride in Annadel, hoping to document another rattlesnake encounter. No snakes, but I ran into Bob on my descent and joined up to ride around Lake Ilsanjo a second time.
You’d never know Bob had a fairly recent knee surgery. Yet he commented on his desire to be a better technical rider. Instead he said he “just grinds over things”. My take is that he gets the job done just fine! In fact some days he’s a total animal.

Snake Crossing
Rattle snake dead ahead! We were confronted while biking in Annadel yesterday & just watched in awe as this sizable & sinister sight slithered across our trail. (maximum alliteration)
This is my second sighting in as many weeks. There seems to be a primal response upon seeing these snakes. One just knows to give them their space.

How many times have I seen Step Brothers? Hmmmmm......
John C. Reilly is a prolific actor with a dazzling stretch of films and high profile parts as well as both Golden Globe & Academy Award nominations for best supporting actor. He has truly reinvented himself. You just never know what lurks within.

Larry Rocks The Suspenders
Since DaBlog has relinquished the Larry King background; it's time to reminisce a little. Here are some of my favorite clips. Hey, cut the old guy some slack.

Cruiser Palooza
We came upon the mother of all vintage bike garage sales. There may have been 30 bikes, all JC Higgins! Elgin evolved into JC Higgins and was sold by Sears in the 50s. I not only know that vintage, I am that vintage.
These bad boys (& girls) are beautiful throwbacks to another place in time & technology for that matter….and they weigh about 70 pounds!
